Overview of membership start and end dates

When creating a product users need to select what dates the particular product will be available from and until. There a several different options to choose from.

MEMBERSHIP START DATES

SPECIFIC START DATE:

For this option you will need to input the specific date in which you would like this product to start the membership period for the member.  This start date can be the current date or a date in the future.

If the start date of the product is in the future, after the product has been purchased by the member, the member will appear with a pending active member type and product until the date of that product in which the member type and product will become active.

REGISTRATION DATE:

This option will base the start date of the membership period for the member based off the date that they complete the registration.

SEASON START DATE:

This option allows you to start the membership period for the member based on the start date of a particular season, once a member purchases this product they will be active as soon as the season starts.


MEMBERSHIP END DATES:

SPECIFIC END DATE:

For the option you will need to select the specific date that this membership period will end for a member. This date must be in the future- how many days or months in the future is entirely up to you.

SPECIFIC DAYS AFTER REGISTRATION:

For this option you will need to select how many days after the a member has registered will the membership period expire.

If you want the product or membership period to end a year after a member has purchased this product then you would input 365 days.

SEASON END DATE:

This option allows you to end the membership period based off when a specific season ends. As soon as the season has finished then this product and membership period will become inactive.


NOTE: although these can be used in any combination, it is recommend that the start date you select, you select the same end date as well.
