How does Pending Registrations work?
Pending registrations are based off member types rather than the form itself. Basically pending registrations works in two ways:
1. Allows the organisation to create a form with all members types using the pending status.
2. Allows the organisation to create a form that only has certain member types using the pending status.
Organisations can set up one form to have the pending option and have another form not have this option or allow them to set up the one (so members aren't registering from mutliple forms) that only has certain member types that need the pending status.
Our association/club would like to use Pending Registrations, are we able to do this?
Pending registrations are enabled/disabled based on the requirements of the national body for your sport so unless the national body has enabled pending registrations, your association/club will be unable to use pending registrations. To confirm if your association/club does have the ability for pending registrations, please contact the state or national body for your sport.
If your national body has not enabled the use of pending registrations then you will not be able to use pending registrations. You will need to use the forms as they are or how the national body has these set up for you.
If your national body has enabled the use of pending registrations, then you are able to use pending registrations on any association/club related forms that you create or the national has created for you.
Our national body has enabled Pending Registrations and our association/club uses the national registration form to register members but it is not set to be able to take pending registrations, are we able to change this?
If your association/club uses a national registration form that does not have pending registrations enabled, then unfortuntely this cannot be changed at lower levels (like club level) so you will need to use the form as is. As the national body created this form, any form that they choose to share down, cannot have the settings changed by lower level organisations.
Our national body has enabled Pending Registrations and our association/club would like create a form with this ability, can we do this?
If your national body has enabled pending registrations and your club/association is not using a national registration form to register members - your sport allows clubs/leagues to create their own forms- then you are able to add pending registrations to registrations forms/ created at your level.
For information on how to create pending registration forms please see the articles listed within the ''Pending Registrations'' folder on the left hand side of this support centre.
When a member is approved or declined do they receive a confirmation email?
Yes. When a user is approved, they will receive a successful registration email confirming they are now an active member. When a member is declined, they will receive a decline confirmation email that tells them to contact the club/league for more information and to organise a refund.
